Linda Fergus, MS, RD, LDN earned a B.S. degree
in Dietetics from Louisiana State University and a M.S. degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Texas Woman's University.
Linda is a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She specializes in counseling patients or all
ages with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Linda has traveled
extensively lecturing about the nutritional restoration of the eating disorder patient. Linda has a private practice
in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
Payment for Nutrition appointments
- Louisiana Blue Cross Blue Shield and Optum Health are accepted. The nutrition services are in network for the Verity
Healthnet Healthcare Provider Network. If your session is not covered by insurance, payment for nutrition services
is made at the time of service. Some insurance companies and policies cover nutrition counseling, however,
many do not. You can call your insurance and find out if they pay for medical nutrition therapy for your condition. You
may pay using a flexible healthcare spending account, credit card, cash, or check. Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted as a form of payment.

Rachele Judd Thompson, MSW,

earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology from Truman State University and her MSW from Tulane University School of Social
Work. Ms. Thompson is experienced in child, adolescent and family therapy. Ms. Thompson lectures regionally and nationally educating about eating disorder
treatment, body image disturbance, and family therapy.
